The Mesothelioma Research Foundation of America’s mission is to fund research that will lead to the quickest cure for mesothelioma. Since the year 2001, the foundation has funded the opening of the Mesothelioma Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Gill at the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in Los Angeles.
The national nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating mesothelioma as a life-ending disease. The lead researcher Dr. Michael Carbone recently received the Landon Foundation - AACR Innovator Award for International Collaboration in Cancer Research. The foundation also awarded $1 million to researchers devoted to finding a cure for mesothelioma.
